How We Work
No surprises. No runaround. Just a clear process from the first call to the final walkthrough.
Step 1 — The First Conversation
It starts with a phone call or a visit. You tell us what you have in mind — a kitchen, a bathroom, an addition, or a full renovation. Sal listens. He asks questions. He gives you an honest read on what’s realistic for your budget and your home. No sales pitch. No pressure.
Step 2 — The Site Visit
Sal comes to your home. He walks the space, takes measurements, and gets a real feel for what the project involves — structural considerations, existing conditions, opportunities. This is where the project starts to take shape.
Step 3 — The Estimate
We put together a detailed, line-by-line estimate. Labor, materials, timeline — laid out clearly so you know exactly what you’re getting and what it costs. We walk you through it and answer every question. If something doesn’t make sense, we explain it until it does.
We don’t do vague estimates. A number you can’t hold us to isn’t an estimate — it’s a guess.
Step 4 — Planning and Permits
Once we’re aligned on scope and budget, we handle the planning — coordinating with your architect if one is involved, pulling the necessary permits, ordering materials in advance so there are no delays once work starts. We know the permit process in every town we serve and handle it so you don’t have to.
Step 5 — The Build
Work begins. Sal is on site and reachable throughout. Our crew is consistent — you’re not meeting new faces every week. If a question or decision comes up, you hear about it immediately — not after the fact.
We treat your home with respect. We clean up at the end of every day. We minimize disruption to your neighbors. We show up when we say we will.
Step 6 — Change Orders (If Needed)
Sometimes things change — you want to upgrade a material, adjust a detail, or an unforeseen condition requires a modification. We handle all changes in writing with a clear price before any additional work is done. No verbal approvals, no surprise bills at the end.
Step 7 — Final Walkthrough
When the work is complete, Sal walks the job with you. We go through every detail together. If anything needs attention, we address it before we consider the job done. We don’t consider a project finished until you’re satisfied.
After the Job
We stand behind our work. If something comes up after we’ve finished, call us. That’s not just a policy — it’s how a family business with a 40-year reputation operates.
“You and your team were always completely professional, and left behind a beautiful, transformed house. We appreciate how you always listened carefully to our requests, and never failed to come up with a solution that delivered beautifully and still kept us in budget.”
